Alveda King, the niece of iconic Civil Rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., informed Fox Information on Tuesday that claims by Democrats, pundits and activists that President Donald Trump is a racist are inaccurate.
Throughout a Tuesday morning phase of Fox & Buddies, King appeared for an interview with the morning present’s co-host Steve Doocy to debate a gathering she and different African American pastors had with Trump on the White Home and to touch upon the president’s current assaults on Democratic Consultant Elijah Cummings and his metropolis, Baltimore. After Doocy performed a clip of politicians and analysts criticizing the president and arguing that he’s racist, King disagreed strongly.
All of that information is totally faux,” King, who previously served as a consultant in Georgia’s State Home, insisted. She informed Doocy that the president informed her and the others of their assembly this week that “he cares about all People.”
Trump on Saturday lashed out at Cummings, who represents Maryland’s seventh District which incorporates greater than half of Baltimore, arguing that the consultant’s metropolis is a spot the place “No human being would need to reside.”
